Novant Health Medical Park Hospital is seeking a Polysomnograph Technologist to join our REMARKABLE acute care team.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED, required
Experience
- Minimum of two years of experience in a sleep center, preferred
Licensure/Certification
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, required
Additional Skills
- Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
- Good communication skills
- Medical terminology
- Previous experience with computers
- Manual dexterity and the capacity to deal with visual concepts
- Initiative and judgment to proceed with work without constant supervision
- High degree of patience and understanding in dealing with unusual situations
- Ability to work flexible nighttime schedule
- Basic ECG recognition
- General understanding of the concepts of polysomnography
