Novant Health Medical Park Hospital is seeking a Polysomnograph Technologist to join our REMARKABLE acute care team.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED, required

Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in a sleep center, preferred

Licensure/Certification

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, required

Additional Skills

• Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
• Good communication skills
• Medical terminology
• Previous experience with computers
• Manual dexterity and the capacity to deal with visual concepts
• Initiative and judgment to proceed with work without constant supervision
• High degree of patience and understanding in dealing with unusual situations
• Ability to work flexible nighttime schedule
• Basic ECG recognition
• General understanding of the concepts of polysomnography
