Polisher-Prime & Provisions

Essential Responsibilities

• Polish and inspect glassware, flatware, dishware and serving pieces to ensure they are spotless and free of water spots, fingerprints, chips, or defects.
• Organize polished items and restock service stations, bars, and storage areas throughout the shift.
• Maintain an adequate supply of polished service ware to support uninterrupted restaurant operations.
• Absorb damaged or chipped items from circulation and notify management.
• Keep polishing stations, storage areas, and workspaces clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Properly handle delicate glassware and service items to minimize breakage.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with opening, closing, side work and other duties as needed within the scope of the role.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid Food Handler Certification required
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands + Work Environment

• Frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and climb throughout the shift
• Push and pull carts, dollies, and inventory throughout the restaurant
• Ability to safely handle fragile glassware, dishware, and flatware
• Must be able to move safely through kitchen areas, including slick floors, hot surfaces, humid environments and tight spaces
