Location: Whitesboro, NY (Onsite)

Responsibilities

• Operate high‑speed grinding wheels, bobs, and emery belts to perform final polish operations on parts.
• Operate automatic polishing robot.
• Remove stock from parts to maintain proper visual appearance, contour, dimension, and end match.
• Change and dress wheels, belts, and bobs as required.
• Interpret and polish to qualify parts based on Cordax reports.
• Read and interpret process sheets and polish to quality, guillotine, and dimensional requirements.
• Polish all required gauges and process sheets.
• Follow all safety and health policies, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the position.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to remain focused on tasks throughout scheduled hours.
• Self‑motivated and dependable worker.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior polishing experience.
• Experience in a relevant field (preferred but not required).

Working Conditions

• Mobility required in a manufacturing plant environment while using PPE.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Schedule

• B Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm (training completed on A Shift).
• A Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
