Polisher

About the role

Modern Packaging is seeking a Metal Polisher to join our team. This position requires operating small electric and pneumatic hand and bench tools, deburring and polishing metal parts, following work instructions and procedures, standing for longer periods, teamwork, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate small electric and pneumatic hand and bench tools
• Debur and polish metal parts with various abrasives and hand tools
• Follow work instructions and procedures
• Be able to stand for longer periods of time as needed
• Be a team player and help others as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• Previous experience preferred but not required
• Company will train the right candidate
• Ability to communicate and have discussions in English
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules
• Ability to stay organized and perform work in a safe and orderly fashion
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Be punctual and dependable
• Day shift hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. M-F, 7:00 a.m. – 12 noon Saturdays
• Overtime is often required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass a drug test

• Hand and bench tool operation

Pay

$20 - $24 hourly

Schedule

Day shift hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. M-F, 7:00 a.m. – 12 noon Saturdays
