About the role

The Leidos DoW CIO Mission Support Services (CMSS) program within the Digital Sector has a career opportunity for a Policy Governance and Standards Systems Architect to support one of its critical customers. You will be responsible for architecting, designing, and driving the adoption of different architectural methodologies across the organization. You will also play a key role in defining and implementing enterprise policies, governance, and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Employ solution architecture and system engineering principles, processes, methods, models, artifacts, and tools to accomplish analysis, problem evaluation/diagnosis, and solution design across a variety of Systems Engineering / Architecture activities, including data gathering, requirements definition, use case development, gap analysis, functional specification creation, test plan development, test preparation, risk assessment and mitigation planning, and authoring of design specifications.
  • Aid in drafting new policies and procedures, revising existing ones, and ensuring they are aligned with the organizational and enterprise-wide strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Perform complex and advanced architecture work in design, evaluation, planning, testing, and operation in support of system development, engineering analysis, and research as needed.
  • Integrate with other Directorates to ensure that the organization’s infrastructure supports the efficient and secure delivery of products and services.
  • Lead the development of business process maps using a standard methodology and toolset.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship with an active Top Secret (TS) and the ability to obtain an SCI clearance.
  • Experience with preparing executive presentations.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented and excellent time-management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications

  • BS degree.
  • 8+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI clearance.

Skills

  • Modeling and Simulation experience.
  • Solid organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with federal organizations and interacting with senior civilian and military personnel.

Benefits

Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
