Key Results (Year One)
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive campaign tracker and community engagement database for our policy campaigns.
- Build coalitions to support each of Worth Rises’ policy campaigns, with at least five key partners in each.
- Build a rapid response network of partners and directly impacted communities in priority states and effective engagement mechanism.
- Organize at least two successful lobby days, involving at least ten legislative office meetings for each.
- Maintain tracking systems and provide timely updates to the team regarding bill movement, hearings, and other legislative activity across assigned states.
- Coordinate coalition efforts, partner engagement, and logistics in support of state campaigns.
- Implement base-building strategies in directly impacted communities to elevate their voices and center their leadership, analysis, and stories.
- Work across Policy, Corporate, and Narrative teams to streamline coordination and project management.
Qualifications
- At least two years of professional experience providing high-quality support to legislative campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects at once with efficiency, skill, and calm.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted working relationships with partners and community members, which includes exhibiting reliability, delegating effectively, and practicing empathy.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- A genuine commitment to Worth Rises’ organizational values: act with integrity, focus on impact, deliver excellence, get it done, and operate with intellectual curiosity.
Skills
- Regular and disciplined practice of active listening, seeking clarification, and note taking.
- Working understanding of the prison industry or strong interest in learning.

Pay
The annual salary for the Policy Campaigns Associate is $72,000. Worth Rises offers a generous compensation package, including comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, 20 days of vacation time, ten days of personal/sick leave, and three days of bereavement leave in addition to 11 holidays and winter break.
