Summary

ICS will be providing integrated support services to the DISA Enterprise Logistics Division (MP3) in support of the Agency's mission. Knowledge of DOD 5000 64 and DoD 7000 14-R (Financial Management Regulation) required. Trained in DISA Specific Processes.

About the Policy & Compliance Branch

Develops and enforces property management compliance to enhance logistical readiness and asset management annual reconciliation rate throughout the Agency. It increases awareness of external and internal regulations, instructions, and provide management tools to standardize processes and assess operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, the Inventory Manager/Stock Record Officer (SRO) must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities listed in a satisfactory manner:

  • Provide property inventory control to include inventories of all accountable and non-accountable property (new and existing equipment); Includes assisting with and oversight of property inventories conducted by DISA and non-DISA staff.
  • Obtain and maintain a Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) account in order to input data and run reports as necessary to maintain property accountability.
  • Process accountable property activity (additions, deletions, transfers, adjustments vouchers, and disposal) using proper financial documents to facilitate financial audit readiness.
  • Conduct physical inventories when required to verify accuracy of information.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three (3) years of relative experience working in a Federal DISA warehouse.

Clearance: Individual must possess an active Top Secret security clearance.

Language Skills

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Ability to read, comprehend and explain instructions, letters, memos, emails, and correspondence from inside the organization as well as from external sources. Ability to effectively respond, communicate and present information to senior management, contracting officials, clients, and other employees in the organization.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to organize work, define and solve problems, establish, and manage priorities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions based on facts. Project Manager participates in prioritization of work and decision-making on allocation of resources. The incumbent must be able to analyze a situation analytically, evaluate the facts/data and formulate a plan of action.
