Policy Analyst

The Commercial Lines Policy Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Underwriting Department by managing a high volume of policy production while ensuring product quality.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and review policies for accuracy and completeness two weeks before their effective date.
- Identify discrepancies and correct them before issuing policies.
- Process consumer requests and maintain communication with brokers by following up on renewal documents.
- Request, receive, and process underwriting documents and applications promptly.
- Prepare renewal notices 30-90 days before the effective date according to state regulations.
- Build and maintain relationships with the Underwriting team and keep open communication channels active.
- Provide backup support for other Policy Analysts when they are absent.
- Aid in balancing workload distribution among the Policy Analyst team.
- Pursue educational opportunities within McNeil and Company and Arch Insurance.
Requirements
- A high school diploma is required, with an Associates degree or two years of related experience preferred.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet production targets.
- Compliance with industry standards and guidelines.
- Good attendance and punctuality.
- Long periods of sitting.
- Computer proficiency in a Windows-based environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective handling of phone and email communications.
- Experience with office equipment.
Qualifications

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $42,000 - $45,000 per year, with total individual compensation taking into account various factors including geographic location, scope of responsibilities, qualifications, talent availability, and business needs. The pay range may be modified in the future.
