Policy Administration Associate
What You Will Be Accountable For
- Ensure group, benefits, and eligibility information is loaded to applicable systems in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure group and member information is available by the contract effective date to support claim and customer service processes.
- Draft account-specific documents and renew major and/or national accounts using the master's as a base.
- Resolve escalated issues by interacting with Underwriting, Products, Billing, Claims, and Integration Teams to mediate risk.
- Act as a liaison within operational areas to assist with projects, initiatives, or process reviews.
- Manage tasks and deadlines based on the effective date of coverage while remaining communicative and consultative with customer-facing partners, including Implementation Teams, Operations, and Sales.
What Qualifications You Need
- Experience in policy administration, benefits administration, or group insurance operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with system data entry and account documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, effective-date-driven environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Underwriting, Products, Billing, Claims, and Integration teams.
- Customer service skills.
- Problem-solving and issue-resolution skills.
