Police Patrol Officer Lateral Transfer

Requirements

• Lateral applicants must currently be employed full-time as a Peace Officer, hold OPOTA certification, and have at least three (3) years of road patrol experience.

Qualifications

• Good social and general intelligence;
• Able to deal firmly, and courteously with the public;
• Good knowledge of first-aid methods;
• Good judgement;
• Skilled in the use of firearms;
• Able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions;
• Able to drive an automobile under adverse conditions;
• Good powers of agility;
• Excellent physical condition.

Current Qualifications
