About the role

The City of Anna is seeking qualified candidates interested in a future career with the Anna Police Department. Pay is commensurate with experience. Lateral Entry is offered to out-of-state officers and in-state TCOLE certified officers.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with Anna neighbors
• Promote a sense of trust and partnership within the community
• Must be a United States citizen
• Must pass a drug screen, criminal background check, MVR check and any other verification required by the Anna Police Department
• Must possess a current and valid Driver's License
• Must possess a valid TCOLE license

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be a United States citizen

Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years of fulltime paid experience may qualify to start at STEP-2
• Five (5) or more years of fulltime paid experience may qualify to start at STEP-3
• Applicants wishing to be considered for lateral entry may be asked to provide copies of their performance evaluations for their last three (3) years of fulltime experience
