The Spring Lake Park Police Department seeks a Full-Time Police Officer to serve a supportive community of 7,400 residents. The department offers a modern police facility opened in 2025, including an onsite indoor gun range.

Responsibilities

- Serve a supportive community of 7,400 residents. - Access to multiple career development paths such as School Resource Officer, rotating Investigator and Traffic Safety roles, Field Training Officer, Mobile Field Force, Bike Patrol, and instructor positions (Taser, PepperBall, Use of Force, Firearms). - Participate in a comprehensive wellness program, including mental health services and an onsite fitness facility.

Requirements

Applicants must meet Minnesota POST Board selection standards and possess, or be eligible to possess, a full-time Minnesota Peace Officer License at the time of appointment.
