Pay

The current hourly pay scale for 2026 is $34.19 to $38.50 ($34.70 to $39.08 after 07/01/2026).

Benefits

100% individual employee paid Health and dental premium.
Family Health premiums are covered by the employer at 85% of the premium.
A generous HSA contribution of $3,000 per year for individuals, and $6,000 per year for Family.
Long-Term Disability and Short-Term Disability coverage paid by the employer.
Life Insurance coverage of $20,000 paid by the employer.
Initial equipment and uniforms will be provided by employer, starting in the second year of employment officers will receive a $1,000 uniform allowance annually per the union contract.

Qualifications

P.O.S.T Licensed or eligible to be licensed by the date of hire.
Lateral applicants can be placed on the scale based on years of experience.
Officers who are hired in 2026 will receive $2,500 after successful completion of field training.
Officers will receive $2,500 after three years of service, $3,000 after six years of service, and $4,500 after nine years of service.
For longevity retention incentive, a year of service is 2080 scheduled hours.
