Position Introduction
The Poison Information Pharmacist Specialist provides real-time clinical consultation and guidance for toxic exposures and medication-related emergencies through the Oklahoma Poison Center. This position supports the poison center's highest call-volume consultation hours and plays a key role in patient safety, public health education, and experiential training of pharmacy students. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop advanced clinical expertise in toxicology practice while working within a collaborative academic environment.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
No experience required.
Required Certifications And Licenses
Licensed Pharmacist by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy or obtain licensure within 90 days of hire date.
Oklahoma Preceptor's License by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy or obtain within 12 months of hire date.
