About the role

North Country is a 100% employee-owned technology partner for grocery and retail businesses, delivering industry-leading POS solutions and managed services.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored POS solutions to clients
  • Collaborate with sales teams, management, vendors, and clients to analyze business needs and translate them into effective system configurations
  • Analyze, program/configure, test, and document POS systems/software
  • Effectively and efficiently manage every installation project assigned, ensuring quality client service and satisfaction
  • Effectively train clients in POS functionality
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed, including occasional overnight stays

Requirements

  • POS system integration and implementation experience preferred
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or grocery environments preferred
  • Familiarity with NCR ENCOR systems is a plus
  • Working knowledge of POS systems and strong analytical skills preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening), with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities required
