Point of Care Assistant- Lab- FT- 1st Shift
About the role
Aids in the daily management of the hospital's Point-Of-Care Testing Program. Responsibilities include data collection and organization, quality testing, policy enforcement, process documentation, inventory control of departmental supplies, computer data entry and word processing, and staff training.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two years experience in hospital environment working with test orders/lab processes strongly preferred
Additional Skills/Abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly
- Maintain absolute confidentiality in handling patient information
- Absolute integrity and accuracy in identifying and reporting numbers and names
- Proficient in use of computer and word processing skills
