Podiatry (Nonsurgical)

Bassett Healthcare Network, central New York, is seeking a General Podiatrist to join its established group of 2 General Podiatrists and 4 Podiatric Surgeons within an integrated, 8-county regional system. This progressive academic health system is a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Responsibilities

• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, delivering care across an 8-county region
• Share call of one week every 5th week, with the option to perform limb salvage cases and take limb salvage call (no elective cases)
• Work in an 180-bed primary hospital with a Level III Trauma Center and instant referral base provided by over 300 primary care clinicians
• Obtain procedure room privileges

Requirements

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery
• Completion of an accredited USA Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency
• New York State licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Pay

• Salary range: $180,000 – $225,000
• Sign-on bonus: up to $50,000
• Physician incentive plan with no earnings cap; individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation, with potential upside realized within the first year of employment
