Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Podiatrist to join our mobile care team in New Bern, NC. This role is ideal for someone looking to supplement their current schedule while making a meaningful impact in underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine foot care, wound care, and treatment for diabetic-related complications.
• Diagnose and manage podiatric conditions commonly affecting geriatric patients.
• Educate patients and/or facility staff on preventive care and condition management.
• Ensure a respectful, safe, and comfortable environment tailored to geriatric needs.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree.
• Active state podiatry license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience; geriatric or mobile care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of diabetic foot care and wound management best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to facility-based care settings.

Schedule

• 2 to 4 visits per month (total for both locations)
• Weekday availability preferred
• Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
