Podiatrist for Skilled Nursing Facilities

About the role

We are seeking a Podiatrist to provide specialized foot and leg care within a growing medical practice serving residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients to diagnose foot and leg conditions
• Treat injuries such as fractures and calluses
• Refer patients for surgeries when necessary
• Prescribe medications and orthoses
• Advise on foot care and wellness practices
• Conduct patient visits and maintain documentation
• Provide preventative care for lower extremities

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine (DPM)
• Active state license
• Over two years of clinical or hospital experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly in communicating with elderly patients
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic and surgical treatments for lower extremities

Schedule

Typically scheduled Monday through Friday with flexible options.

Pay

Compensation is offered via CPT codes or a percentage of collections, with independent contractor status.
