About the role

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provides mental health assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management for patients experiencing issues like depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. This role requires delivering outpatient telehealth services, utilizing an EHR platform, and collaborating with support teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments, psychiatric workups, and develop treatment plans.
• Manage medication and crisis situations independently or with collaborating physicians.
• Deliver sessions of 30-60 minutes, focusing solely on patient care.
• Utilize provided telehealth tools and documentation systems.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California license and DEA registration.
• At least 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience managing psychiatric patients.
• Certification as a PMHNP by ANCC or AANPCB.
• Proficiency in telehealth delivery and evidence-based psychiatric care.
• Clean professional record with no recent disciplinary actions or federal healthcare exclusions.

Pay

Per session pay: $110 for initial evaluations and $70 for follow-up visits. Additional $35 for eligible psychotherapy coding. Reliable bi-weekly direct deposit with billing handled by the organization. No-shows and late cancellations fully paid, supporting income stability.
