PMHNP or PA Behavioral Health - Psychiatry

About the role

The provider will join our Behavioral Health team with MaineHealth Primary Care and Pediatrics – North Conway, a well-established practice offering complete care to all ages. The PMHNP will provide psychiatric consultation and care to help shape services for a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic. Educating the care team on psychiatric approaches to behavioral health conditions is an exciting part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric consultation and care to help shape services for a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic.
• Educate the care team on psychiatric approaches to behavioral health conditions.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Master's degree as Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
• Two years’ experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Associate with patient care in a community mental health center or hospital is preferred.
• Valid license as a Nurse Practitioner by the NH and qualified to do psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
• Advanced skill and knowledge in conducting psychiatric evaluations and treating psychiatric patients.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for licensure in NH.
• Must have current DEA registration.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $118,138 to $152,885 annually based on the candidate’s level of experience.

Schedule

Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
