Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Uphold and fulfill the mission and philosophy of the Leach College of Nursing.
• Participate in and promote a culture of continuous quality improvement.
• Teach 15 credit hours per semester of the BSN and MSN courses.
• Academic advising.
• Clinical supervision of students.
• Ongoing scholarly activity.
• Participation in committee work, public service, and professional organizations.

Provide Service to the University, Leach College of Nursing, and the Community

• Serve on appropriate University/College and Governance Committees.
• Participate in University/College activities including faculty, students, and alumni.
• Cooperate in the recruitment and retention of students.
• Engage in scholarly endeavors and research for professional and scholarly growth.
• Participate in professional programs and attend workshops and/or classes for personal enrichment.
• Participate in College projects in the area of expertise.
