PMHNP - HMHI OP Farmington Clinic
Full-time benefited position located in Farmington, UT. Standard hours: 40 per week, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
About the role
This position provides outpatient psychiatric care and mental health treatment to patients seen in a Huntsman Mental Health Institute Outpatient Clinic. The role involves diagnosing, creating treatment plans, prescribing psychiatric medications, establishing medication management treatment plans, providing psychotherapy, and potentially administering medications for patients in an outpatient setting, either in clinic or remotely, within the scope of practice and according to state law.
Responsibilities
- Perform mental health evaluations, diagnose, and create treatment plans.
- Triage patients and make referrals when appropriate.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
- Prescribe medication and provide psychotherapy.
- Develop safety planning for patients.
Requirements
- Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system (to be obtained within 30 days of hire).
- Valid registered license in the state where they intend to practice as an advanced practice psychiatric mental health nurse.
- Successfully completed ANCC certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
Qualifications
Preferred:
- 2 years of ambulatory mental health experience.
- 2 years of direct, semi-independent, patient care in an ambulatory mental health outpatient facility.
Pay
Pay rate range: $132,661 - $152,147 per year.
