About the role

This is a full-time position with the MDH John L. Gildner RICA as a PMAB Specialist (CAMH Specialist II, CI). The role offers a salary range of $59,305.00 - $76,725.00 per year, with potential growth up to $93,533.00 per year. The work location is Montgomery.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and treatment to individuals with mental health needs
• Implement and monitor PMAB (Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior) protocols
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation procedures

Qualifications

• Valid certification in PMAB or equivalent aggression management training
• Experience working with individuals with behavioral health conditions
• Knowledge of mental health treatment modalities
• Ability to perform physical interventions when necessary per PMAB guidelines
• Strong communication and documentation skills
