PM Pastry Cook

About the role

Woodfield Boca Raton is seeking a PM Pastry Cook. Candidates must have at least 2 years of prior experience working within an upscale restaurant, hotel or resort environment. The Pastry Cook will assist in the preparation of all pastry and bakery products, set up dessert stations and plate‑ups, and may work part‑ or full‑time.

Schedule

Typical shift hours: 2 pm/4 pm – 10 pm.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all pastry and bakery items.
• Work dessert buffet stations and banquet plate‑ups.
• Follow recipes and assist in the development of new recipes.
• Follow prep lists.
• Ensure all products are fresh before serving.
• Maintain coolers and storage areas neat, organized, and rotate items.
• Maintain the highest sanitary conditions.
• Ensure work areas are safe and secure; report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties and activities as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in an upscale restaurant, hotel, or resort kitchen.
• Previous experience in a high‑volume, quality kitchen.
• Team player and self‑motivator.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
