Responsibilities
- Trouble shoots all plant maintenance issues during shift, as requested
- Provides timely repairs, upkeep and preventative maintenance
- Insures that adequate repair parts are stocked
- Uses MRO system for removing and returning parts from inventory
- Makes recommendations for equipment improvements
- Aids in set-ups, start-ups, and qualifications
- Serves as an example for housekeeping and safety standards
- Serves as a point of contact for production management, human resources, quality control, warehouse, and tool room
- Troubleshoots molding process, making adjustments to the machine, auxiliary equipment, to produce quality parts
- Troubleshoots machines, making sure machines are functioning properly to produce quality parts
- Troubleshoots auxiliary equipment, making sure all equipment is functioning properly to produce quality parts
- Answers alarms on machines
- Molds setup and removal
- Molds and machine maintenance
- Serves as a liaison between production personnel and quality control
- Assists with building and programming on Qualifications
- Enters all Work Order Requests into automated tracking system
- Accurately records and reports information related to Work Order Requests
- Monitors and troubleshoots material load system problems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience around industrial maintenance mechanical
- 1+ years of experience working in manufacturing
- Able to multi-task
- Able to pass a background check and drug test
- Able to monitor quality of machine output
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms
- Able to follow all department procedures and directives
- Able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner
