PM Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on tractor-trailers
• Complete oil changes, filter changes, fluid checks, and greasing/lubrication
• Inspect, service, and replace brakes
• Perform tire repairs, rotations, replacements, and inspections
• Conduct routine safety and maintenance inspections
• Identify and report mechanical issues or repair needs
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
• Work independently in the shop during assigned shifts

Requirements

• Experience working on tractor-trailers, heavy trucks, or similar equipment preferred
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures, brake systems, tires, and lubrication
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong troubleshooting and time management skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
• Must have own tools
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and attendance
