PM Housekeeping Supervisor - Bilingual and exp required

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor assists with all duties of the housekeeping operation and ensures cleanliness levels across the property. This position requires strong attention to detail and leadership skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is required. Experience in a private club or hotel environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
• Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective action.
• Obtains lists of rooms to be cleaned immediately and prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments.
• Conducts orientation training and in-service training for new hires, explaining policies, work procedures, and demonstrating equipment use and maintenance.
• Responsible for staff performance reviews in the absence of the Manager.
• Reviews and prepares or assists with scheduling of staff members.
• Reports all maintenance and repair needs to the maintenance department.
• Coordinates work activities among departments in the absence of the Manager.
• Maintains inventory of stock to ensure adequate supplies.
• Makes recommendations to the Manager to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
• Performs standard cleaning duties.
• Issues supplies and equipment to workers.
• Establishes standards and procedures for the work of housekeeping staff.
• Advises manager, desk clerk, or admitting personnel of rooms ready for occupancy.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Experience in a private club or hotel environment preferred.
