PM Host/Hostess - On Call

About the role

The Greeter position at Hyatt is designed for individuals with experience in restaurant hosting or serving. This role involves greeting guests, managing their flow into dining and bar areas, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
• Escort guests to assigned dining areas
• Present menus and announce waiter’s name
• Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service
• Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas
• Provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate
• Tend to special guest needs and requests
• Be observant to guests' needs throughout the dining experience to ensure high-quality service
• Protect the establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies

Requirements

• Ability to clearly communicate guests' needs to servers, bussers, managers, etc.
• Ability to hear well in a loud environment to answer telephone and respond to guest requests
• Able to walk and stand during the entire shift
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe
• Passion for providing extraordinary service
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule (weekends, holidays)
