Plywood Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily activities of the production employees in a mill environment.
• Plan and assign work, supervise the production lines for safety, product quality and workflow.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to BIC (Best in Class), the process of continuous improvement.
• Train, motivate and coach employees.
• Ensure that all company and departmental procedures and expectations are met.

Qualifications

• High school degree required, with technical/formal training preferred.
• Two to four years previous experience in a manufacturing environment and proven leadership experience required.
• Knowledge of wood products manufacturing process is preferred.
• Effective communication skills at all levels.
• Problem solving, analytical, organizational and team building skills.
• Ability to work well with people and facilitate change and growth in a total quality management environment.
• Computer skills required.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Hours are typically 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
