About the role
This is an opportunity for a licensed plumbing professional who enjoys mentoring field teams, solving complex construction challenges, and playing a key role in project execution from planning through completion. The right individual will serve as a trusted leader for superintendents, foremen, and craft professionals while working closely with operations and project leadership to keep work moving forward.
Responsibilities
- Leading and coordinating plumbing field operations across multiple projects
- Providing guidance, support, and mentorship to superintendents, foremen, and field personnel
- Managing manpower planning and labor allocation to meet project demands
- Supporting project scheduling, forecasting, and overall field execution
- Ensuring compliance with company standards, quality expectations, and safety programs
- Assisting in project planning, drawing reviews, submittals, and construction strategy discussions
- Helping resolve field challenges, productivity concerns, scheduling conflicts, and technical issues
- Participating in safety investigations, reviews, and continuous improvement efforts
- Overseeing quality control initiatives and maintaining workmanship standards
- Reviewing labor productivity, cost tracking, and field reporting to support successful project outcomes
- Collaborating with project teams and company leadership to drive operational excellence
Requirements
- Journeyman Plumber License
- 10+ years of plumbing construction leadership experience
- Strong background in managing large field teams and multiple supervisors
- Comprehensive knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, installation methods, and construction practices
- OSHA 30 Certification or ability to obtain certification shortly after joining
- Strong communication, leadership, team building, and coaching abilities
- Experience with scheduling, manpower forecasting, and project coordination
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and construction-related software platforms
- Ability to travel as needed to support project operations
