Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include leading and supervising plumbing technicians and field crews, recruiting, training, and scheduling staff, overseeing project planning and coordination, managing timelines and budgets, conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes, addressing deficiencies or callbacks, managing procurement and inventory, maintaining vehicle maintenance, ensuring field crews are properly equipped, handling customer relations, responding to escalated issues, reviewing estimates and bids, and supporting business growth through new and repeat contracts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
- Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and analyze operational performance
- Solid communication skills for client, crew, and vendor interactions
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business management, construction management, or a related field (preferred)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (often required)
