Job Description
TSTC faculty deliver approved curriculum, content, and assessments in an applied learning environment. Responsibilities include facilitation of activities and discussions that engage a range of learning styles with targeted guidance and mentorship to students. Faculty will also interpret and administer assessments, and offer constructive feedback to support student growth and learning outcomes. A key part of the role is to integrate technology effectively to enrich the educational experiences. Faculty act as ambassadors for their programs and TSTC.
Salary Range
The final salary offer will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Salary Range: $68,400- $78,661

Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver high quality instruction and facilitate the learning of students.
- Develop appropriate course syllabi and instructional plans, and organize daily classes utilizing a variety of creative/innovative techniques.
- Interpret and administer assessments, and offer constructive feedback to support student growth and learning outcomes.
- Integrate technology effectively to enrich the educational experiences.
- Act as ambassadors for their programs and TSTC.
Qualifications
- Verifiable work experience as a licensed Plumber.
- Current journeyman plumbing license through TSBPE.
- Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of the following:
- Health and safety in relation to plumbing systems.
- Piping systems.
- Commercial and residential blueprints.
- Residential and commercial plumbing applications.
- State and local plumbing codes regarding potable water, waste water, and gas systems.
- Hazards and safety precautions relating to water supply and distribution systems.
- Field dimensioning, measuring, sketching, and layout of process piping.
- Use, care, and setup of a transit level.
- Pipe sizing.
- DFU's, WFU's, and vent sizing.
- Drain and sewer cleaning.
- Cost and material estimation.
- Project planning/management.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master plumbing license through TSBPE.
- OSHA authorized construction trainer.
- Railroad commission LPG license.
- BPAT license.
- OSSF installers license.
- Med Gas endorsement.
- Rinnai teaching certification.
Education and Experience
Verifiable and demonstrated experience required.
