Plumbing Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Media Real Estate is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician (Plumber) to join our dynamic service team. We seek a candidate with strong plumbing experience who can prioritize tasks, multi-task, and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair residential and commercial properties, ensuring smooth operations and system functionality.
• Perform a variety of plumbing and electrical tasks, maintaining high standards of repair.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing their concerns promptly and professionally.
• Efficiently handle and resolve resident service requests within designated timeframes.
• Complete all work and repair orders timely to minimize disruptions for residents.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure building systems run efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of material and supply inventory, ensuring items are available as needed.
• Monitor the quality of work done by outside contractors to ensure adherence to standards.
• Support additional business demands and tasks as required to help ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Journeyman Plumber/Gas Fitter License (preferred but not required).
• Prior plumbing experience is required.
• Backflow Certification (preferred but not required).
• Availability for on-call schedules.
• Must possess own tools.
