Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction in plumbing technology across various formats and locations.
- Support student learning and success by developing and maintaining curriculum aligned with industry standards and workforce needs.
- Teach residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems; pipe installation and design; water supply and distribution; drainage, waste, and vent (DWV) systems; plumbing codes, blueprint reading; and troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Integrate safety standards, sustainability practices, and relevant technologies used in plumbing trade.
- Read and interpret technical documents such as safety regulations, building codes, blueprints, and installation manuals.
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and utilize instructional technologies and tools relevant to the trade.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a high-quality educational experience for a diverse student population while adhering to the Colleges mission, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in plumbing technology or a related field.
- Experience teaching plumbing technology at the postsecondary level.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes, blueprint reading, and troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The salary for this position is based on the full-time faculty salary schedule.
