Plumbing Installer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans to determine plumbing system layout for remodel projects
• Select appropriate types and sizes of pipes and other plumbing materials based on project specifications
• Accurately locate and mark positions for pipe installations, fixtures, and system connections in accordance with construction plans
• Install pipe supports, brackets, and hangers to ensure secure and code-compliant plumbing systems
• Assemble and install pipes, valves, fittings, and plumbing fixtures in remodel environments
• Install water supply lines, drainage systems, and vent systems, including underground piping and rough-ins
• Install and connect plumbing-related appliances such as water heaters, water softeners, and filtration systems
• Conduct pressure testing and leak detection on newly installed plumbing systems to ensure functionality and compliance
• Adhere to manufacturer requirements for system components and ensure installation quality meets local plumbing codes and environmental regulations
• Cookordinate with field managers, general contractors, project managers, and other trades to ensure timely project completion
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and accurately document installation progress for reference and inspection purposes
• Follow company protocols for equipment handling, truck maintenance, and timely job site arrival
• Uphold all company safety standards and OSHA regulations applicable to plumbing installation
• Foster a team-oriented environment by supporting coworkers, sharing best practices, and participating in company training opportunities
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support successful job completion

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Plumbing Installation for remodel, or new residential or commercial construction projects
• High school diploma or GED required; Plumbing license required
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and plumbing schematics
• Familiarity with state and local plumbing codes and regulations
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail during system layout and installation
• Excellent time management and ability to stay on schedule in a fast-paced construction environment
• Strong communication skills for interacting with general contractors, supervisors, and team members
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
