Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans to determine plumbing system layout for remodel projects
- Select appropriate types and sizes of pipes and other plumbing materials based on project specifications
- Accurately locate and mark positions for pipe installations, fixtures, and system connections in accordance with construction plans
- Install pipe supports, brackets, and hangers to ensure secure and code-compliant plumbing systems
- Assemble and install pipes, valves, fittings, and plumbing fixtures in remodel environments
- Install water supply lines, drainage systems, and vent systems, including underground piping and rough-ins
- Install and connect plumbing-related appliances such as water heaters, water softeners, and filtration systems
- Conduct pressure testing and leak detection on newly installed plumbing systems to ensure functionality and compliance
- Adhere to manufacturer requirements for system components and ensure installation quality meets local plumbing codes and environmental regulations
- Cookordinate with field managers, general contractors, project managers, and other trades to ensure timely project completion
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and accurately document installation progress for reference and inspection purposes
- Follow company protocols for equipment handling, truck maintenance, and timely job site arrival
- Uphold all company safety standards and OSHA regulations applicable to plumbing installation
- Foster a team-oriented environment by supporting coworkers, sharing best practices, and participating in company training opportunities
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support successful job completion
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Plumbing Installation for remodel, or new residential or commercial construction projects
- High school diploma or GED required; Plumbing license required
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and plumbing schematics
- Familiarity with state and local plumbing codes and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail during system layout and installation
- Excellent time management and ability to stay on schedule in a fast-paced construction environment
- Strong communication skills for interacting with general contractors, supervisors, and team members
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
