Your Mission

As a Plumbing & Heating Counter Sales Associate, you'll be a pivotal part of our success story by enhancing sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your efficient assistance will guide both walk-in and telephone customers in selecting and acquiring the products they need.

Daily Opportunities Include

  • Take orders at the counter and enter them accurately into the system.
  • Swiftly solve customer issues or engage the right team member to resolve them.
  • Retrieve orders from our warehouse with precision and speed.
  • Attend product training meetings to stay in the know.
  • Contribute to after-hours scheduled physical inventory counts.
  • Dive into company-sponsored sales promotions.
  • Collaborate with other departments for swift resolution of customer service matters.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proficiency in using electronic and published catalogs to provide product details, pricing, and availability.
  • An organized mind with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • The knack for increasing sales and average order size through cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales, and promoting new products.
  • A commitment to maintaining clean and appealing merchandising and counter areas.
  • While not required, prior wholesale distribution knowledge and plumbing/HVAC experience are a plus.
  • A hunger for continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Availability from Monday to Friday (7 AM to 5 PM) with overtime opportunities.
