Responsibilities
- Design building plumbing systems, including domestic water, hot water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater systems.
- Perform engineering calculations, select equipment, and develop system layouts and BIM drawings.
- Review construction documents, floor plans, and specifications, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
- Write specifications and reports, and coordinate with internal disciplines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering with a plumbing focus or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of plumbing system design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and engineering calculations.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
