Skills
- Experience in specification writing
- Perform field verification and take-offs of existing systems for renovation projects
- Cookordination with other disciplines
- Develop calculations for Plumbing system sizing
- A thorough knowledge of local Plumbing Codes
- Understand work planning and manage the design process to the available hours in the work plan
- Ability to meet with clients and work with contractors
- Oversee deliverables to and from clients
- Strongly motivated, well organized, shows professional initiative
- Takes ownership of assignments and work both independently and as part of the project team
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in Auto CAD and Revit
- Previous experience in designing Healthcare, Commercial, Higher Education or Laboratory projects
- Excellent Organizational and Communication skills
- Proactive and Collaborative team member
- EIT (Engineer in Training) License is a plus
