About the role

The Licensed Master Plumber position oversees the maintenance, repair/replacement, operation, and renovation of equipment and facilities in the Plumbing trade. This role involves making decisions on repairs and reporting major issues to upper management. Responsibilities also include reviewing vendor projects, analyzing and correcting complex system problems, maintaining systems in compliance with regulations, managing manpower and materials, updating logs, and contributing to a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance, repair/replacement, operation, and renovation of equipment and facilities in the Plumbing trade.
  • Make decisions on all normal & complex repairs and report major problems to/consult with the Operations Manager and upper management as appropriate.
  • Read and understand blueprints, specifications, or models to learn work layout or plan own work layout, make routine computations as needed.
  • Review outside vendor projects and make punch lists.
  • Analyze & correct complex building system problems, alone or as part of a team.
  • Maintain systems, equipment, and facilities in a clean, safe operating condition in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations as they relate to the plumbing trade.
  • Determine manpower, material needs, and deadlines for jobs or projects.
  • Maintain logs, perform rounds, and make recommendations for modification or improvement of preventive maintenance systems.
  • Learn and utilize the site CMMS.
  • Update work statuses and document tasks completed in the CMMS using a mobile device in real time.
  • Contribute to a safe work environment by quickly reporting accidents and unsafe working conditions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years Commercial Plumbing experience with 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Must have a valid Colorado Master Plumbing License and Backflow Certification per CDPHE requirements.
  • Rudimentary ability to utilize hand-operated construction equipment.
  • Able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds and perform strenuous labor for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class “C” driver’s license.
