Plumber II

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains the facility's water supply, wastewater, sewage, storm drainage, and medical gas piping networks.
• Serves domestic water pumps, steam stations, heating and condensation systems, and water filtration equipment, while managing backflow and cross-connection prevention.
• Conducts preventive maintenance, adheres to standard safety precautions using PPE, and tests critical fire protection systems including valves, pumps, and deluge systems.
• Determines repair or replacement needs for system failures and responds to after-hours emergency situations to resolve immediate safety hazards.
• Collaborates with other trades, updates personnel on work order statuses to comply with building codes, and participates in meetings, training, and special projects.

Qualifications

• Licenses: Must have one or more of the following: Relevant license with 3 years' experience.
• Education: Graduate of trade school.
• Experience: 5 years of related experience in lieu of license.
• Other: Equivalent combination of relevant education or experience.
