Responsibilities

• Affixes and maintains copper pipe from ½" to 4".
• Maintains a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance, and repair techniques.
• Works with PVC pipe.
• Uses power tools.
• Assists electricians, welders, and assemblers as necessary.
• Solves problems.
• Reads blueprints and follows standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
• Completes assigned tasks.
• Works independently in a busy environment.
• Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Works under pressure.
• Deals tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally with people.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an industrial plumber, with a strong understanding of industrial plumbing systems.
• Shop work experience.
• Completion of college/vocational or technical training preferred.
• Appropriate credentials and certifications.
• Ability to work shift work.
• Ability to work in small spaces.
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints and follow SOP’s.
• Must adhere to safety policies and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
