About the role

Smith Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is seeking a Project Plumber Helper / Laborer to assist with sewer and water line installations and repairs, excavation projects, underground plumbing work, and other construction-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers with sewer and water line installations and repairs
• Help with excavation, trenching, and job site preparation
• Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment
• Perform digging, backfilling, and site cleanup
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow company safety procedures and job site requirements
• Auxiliary support for project plumbers and crew leaders

Requirements

• Construction, plumbing, or labor experience preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Valid driver's license preferred
