- Drive cautiously in tough conditions, safeguarding the truck, plow, and other road users.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑run checks and basic maintenance to keep the truck storm‑ready.
- Communicate continuously with the manager during events to ensure all sites are covered.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record (motor vehicle record reviewed).

- Dependability to be the first called when a storm rolls in.
- Physical stamina to work long outdoor shifts in cold, snow, and ice while staying alert.
- CDL not required, but holders receive a pay raise and may operate larger trucks (over 26,000 lb).
Pay
- $32–$38 per hour, with a pay bump for CDL holders.
- Overtime paid at time‑and‑a‑half for hours over 40 in a week.
- Full‑time employees become eligible for additional benefits (401(k) with company match, health, dental, life, and disability insurance).
Benefits
- Uniforms and personal protective equipment provided.
- Potential transition to full‑time status with 401(k) match and health, dental, life, and disability coverage.

- Consistent plowing work with one of the largest snow and ice operations in the area.
- Well‑maintained trucks and plows, and a supportive crew.
- Family‑oriented company with 13 years in business where reliability is recognized.
Schedule
