Role Summary
As a Package Consultant 3, you will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, with a primary focus on Siemens Teamcenter. You will collaborate with business, engineering, and IT stakeholders to define scalable solution architectures, drive complex integrations, and deliver high-quality PLM implementations aligned with enterprise standards and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business processes to identify optimization opportunities and translate business requirements into scalable PLM solution designs.
- Define end-to-end PLM solution architecture for enterprise implementations using Siemens Teamcenter.
- Develop logical and physical solution designs that align with enterprise architecture, security, and non-functional requirements.
- Own architecture deliverables, including system landscapes, integration patterns, deployment models, and data models.
- Lead solution design, customization, and configuration activities while ensuring adherence to Teamcenter best practices and platform capabilities.
- Design and govern integrations between Teamcenter and enterprise applications such as ERP, MES, ALM, CAD, and other business systems.
- Define PLM data models, master data alignment strategies, and enterprise data migration approaches to ensure data quality and lifecycle traceability.
- Drive large-scale data migration initiatives while maintaining data integrity, consistency, and governance.
- Implement performance optimization strategies focused on scalability, reliability, security, and user experience.
- Provide architectural governance and design assurance throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business, engineering, IT teams, and technology vendors to validate solution decisions and align with product roadmaps.
- Support sales and pursuit activities by contributing to solution architecture, effort estimates, and technical proposals.
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation and deliver knowledge transfer sessions and user training as required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in PLM solution architecture and enterprise implementations with deep expertise in Siemens Teamcenter.
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale PLM solutions in complex business environments.
- Strong knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, configuration, customization, deployment models, and administration.
- Experience integrating Teamcenter with enterprise applications including ERP, MES, ALM, CAD, and other engineering platforms.
- Strong understanding of PLM data models, engineering change management, product lifecycle processes, and master data management.
- Experience defining solution architecture artifacts, including integration patterns, deployment architectures, and system landscapes.
- Able to translate business, engineering, and technical requirements into scalable solution architectures.
- Experience implementing enterprise integration and large-scale data migration strategies.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, security standards, compliance requirements, and performance optimization.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional global teams and leading technical design discussions.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Siemens Teamcenter certifications.
- Experience in Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, High-Tech, or similar industries.
- Previous experience as a PLM Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Enterprise Architect, or related leadership role.
- Experience supporting large, regulated, or multi-site enterprise implementations for U.S.-based clients.
- Familiarity with Siemens product roadmap and broader PLM ecosystem.
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Three years of progressive professional experience may be considered in lieu of each year of formal education.
- Willingness to travel and/or relocate based on project requirements.
