About the role

We are working with companies in Grandville that are adding PLC Programmers to their teams. These organizations value quality over speed in hiring, focusing on alignment with your career goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug existing PLC programs and control systems.
  • Design and integrate HMI applications for operator interface.
  • Configure and program industrial robots for various manufacturing tasks.
  • Perform electrical and control system modifications and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize automation processes.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for PLC programs and control systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience programming PLCs (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram programming.
  • Experience with HMI/SCADA development and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet).

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with SCADA systems and HMI development.
  • Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Experience with robotic integration.

Pay

$63,000 – $101,000 (USD) depending on experience.
