Job Description
- Set up and verify systems used for battery manufacturing data analytics and support new model launches.
- Develop, specify, coordinate, and execute all internal control requirements for data collection for the Battery department.
- Document the planning and implementation of these systems and train local NAMC Team Members on these systems.
- Support the Battery department's objective to execute Capital Projects from planning through Start of Production (SOP).
- Identify and remove roadblocks that hinder progress, develop and execute detailed schedules, and proactively report status to management.
- Work as a team in a cross-functional environment to drive progress and achieve project goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or similar technical field or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience in a manufacturing environment.
- PLC experience including the ability to read, interpret, and modify.
- SQL / Oracle or other database experience.
- Experience with Cisco networks and maintaining a machine network.
- Experience developing code and troubleshooting communication protocols (FL Net, Ethernet-IP, RFID, RS232/485, CC-Link, Modbus, and other PLC protocols).
- Experience using Ignition or other visualization tools for andon or HMI.
- Ability to support weekends, off-shifts, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to work the two shutdown times of the year in July and December.
- Ability for business travel, both domestic and international, up to 25%.
- Toyopuc PLC Programming experience.
- Mitsubishi PLC Programming experience.
- SCADA Systems experience.
- Experience with Kepware software or similar SCADA Data systems.
- Knowledgeable with data analytics software (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau).
- Certification in Functional Safety machinery course.
- Experience with Client specifications.
