PLC/Automation Controls Technician

About the role

Grassland Dairy Products is looking for a qualified PLC/Automation Technician to join our growing team. This position plays an important role in maintaining and improving the electrical, automation, and control systems that keep our operations running safely and efficiently. The Automation Control Technician will install, maintain, diagnose, repair, remove, and adjust controls, instrumentation, and electrical circuits while also assisting with mechanical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot complex electrical and electro-mechanical systems
• Work with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
• Work with HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces)
• Work with VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)
• Work with motors and servos
• Work with electrical controls and instrumentation
• Work with automated production and processing equipment
