Job Responsibilities
- Complete opening and closing duties.
- Provide an exceptional guest experience that is aligned with Marbles customer service procedures.
- Effectively communicate scheduling, inventory, and other operational issues with your manager.
- Operate the store register and process all store transactions accurately.
- Stock retail products; may inventory or receive products as directed.
- Maintain the visual appeal of the store through regular tidying, returning misplaced merchandise, and general upkeep of the store.
- Cleans and sanitizes all work areas and completes special projects as assigned.
- Aid in assisting with all unboxing and tagging projects as assigned by the PlayStore manager.
- Maintain working knowledge of store products and share knowledge and suggestions with guests.
- Perform all other duties assigned by the manager.
Ideal Experience and Skills
- One year of customer service experience, particularly with families and young children (preferred).
- Retail experience is a plus.
- Experience with point-of-sale and inventory software (Shopify and Tessitura experience preferred).
- Excellent communication (both oral and written) skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to establish goals, set priorities, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands
- Walking, standing, stooping, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Occasionally using a ladder and going up and down stairs.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Schedule
Thursday-Sunday availability is preferred. Schedule flexibility is required including weekends, evenings and holidays.
