Playspace Attendant (Memphis, TN)

Multiple locations available in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome visitors with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Provide information to customers about admission options, pricing, and rules.
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process admissions and handle cash/credit transactions.
• Ensure the playspace area is clean, organized, and safe for children's play.
• Monitor and enforce safety rules and guidelines to ensure a safe play environment.
• Periodically sweep up stray sand and perform general tidying within the playspace.
• Clean and sanitize commonly touched surfaces, including the front desk and restrooms.
• Assist in preparing party rooms for birthday celebrations, including setup and cleanup.
• Assist party hosts and guests during parties to ensure a smooth experience.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and report any maintenance issues to the management.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Follow emergency procedures and protocols in case of incidents or accidents.
• Collaborate with co-workers to ensure smooth shift transitions and optimal teamwork.
• Adhere to company policies and guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

• High school active student, diploma, or equivalent.
• Prior experience in customer service, childcare, or a similar role is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and ability to work with children and parents.
• Attention to detail and ability to enforce rules and safety guidelines.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to multitask and handle busy periods with composure.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and engage in active play for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry moderate weight (e.g., party supplies, cleaning equipment).
• Stamina to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and crouch as needed for play activities and cleaning tasks.
